Clive Hartz - Managing Director:

Highly respected amongst his peers, Clive’s property experience spans over 40 years covering all types of property related development. During that time Clive has established himself as a knowledgeable and capable developer being able to timely deliver on developments both locally and interstate.

Clive’s experience in partnering on small and large scale projects, his understanding of the negotiation process with private, local and statutory bodies and his ability to communicate effectively on all levels has made him a valuable asset of every team he is associated with.

He is currently a Chairman and substantial shareholder of the ASX listed company, Intra Energy Corporation, a Sydney based mining Company focused on the energy sector. The company holds coal assets in Australia and Africa and has a major coal project joint venture with the National Development Corporation of Tanzania.

Clive was a director of Archangel Diamond Corporation, the Canadian listed De Beers associate that made the first major commercial diamond discovery in Russia by a western group since the fall of the “Iron Curtain”. He was instrumental in the acquisition of the exploration areas, establishment of the Joint Venture partnership and the subsequent listing of the company on the Vancouver Stock Exchange. After a prolonged title dispute with russian Entities and the effects of the GFC on major participant De Beers, Clive ceased to be a Director or substantial shareholder in Archangel.

Clive was a key member of the group that acquired Skywest Airlines from the Ansett Administrator and played a pivotal role in transforming the company to a profitable and essential participant in the State’s airline infrastructure. He personally negotiated with the Federal and State Governments during this time and also facilitated the renegotiation of the companies aircraft lease facility with its bankers. Clive is no longer a substantial shareholder or Director of Skywest Limited.

Clive worked for a period of five years on a voluntary basis with the Perry Lakes Hawkes Basketball Association and as an advisor to Basketball WA with regard to the establishment of the new State Basketball Centre.

Finally, Clive’s philanthropy and in particular his support of the Variety WA children's charity is well documented elsewhere. His dedication to this and other causes close to his heart ensures that a healthy balance exists between his corporate and private objectives.
